Happy New Year

2008 was a wonderful year! Oh it had some bad times, but a new chapter in all of the Johnson's lifes. Some milestones, Henry and I are what you call empty nesters. It was an adjustment, we can actually have a converstation without being interupted, we find that we finish each others sentences and thoughts. Guess being married almost 28 years we pretty well know each other, he is still my bestest buddy! This year I have started going fishing again, and really enjoy it (okay even learned how to reel the right way now!) This year during the snow we did miss the gang coming to the house after they would play in the park, making hot chocolate and building the fire to warm them up.

This year we have lost some family member, Uncle Jack Patching, what a wonderful man he was such a gentle guy. Henry's cousing Linda lost her husband. I often think of Aunt Joyce and Linda and feel so sad for them.

2009 is here and I can not wait to see what the year has in store for us. Two grandchildren, the family is growing. I love to sit back and absorb it all.
