Two Pretty Neat People

Three pretty special people in my life! Darci our youngest, what a special person she is! I can't believe how much she has grown and how strong of a person she is. Darci has always been and always will be such a special part of my life. She and I have such a good relationship, she has always been one to get me to laugh, when it has been hard to find things to laugh or smile about! Okay won't talk about the Tutu Darci but will never forget it! She can see the good in everyone and in all situations. Henry my bestest buddy in the whole wide world! Love you higher than the stars and deeper than the mud. I can't believe we have been together for almost 28 years, more than 1/2 of my life, thankyou Henry for putting up with me through all that we have been together. What a journey we have had!
Megan, our oldest what a joy you have are to me! What a wonderful young women you are, and now such a good Mother! I can sit for hours and talk to you, watching you grow has been such a wonderful thing to see and be a part of. I am so proud of you, all that you have accomplished in your life so far.
To my family, thankyou for making me feel so special, for being there, all of the wonderful memories. I could write a book, oh yes it would be a best seller! Love to you all! Mom

Happy New Year

2008 was a wonderful year! Oh it had some bad times, but a new chapter in all of the Johnson's lifes. Some milestones, Henry and I are what you call empty nesters. It was an adjustment, we can actually have a converstation without being interupted, we find that we finish each others sentences and thoughts. Guess being married almost 28 years we pretty well know each other, he is still my bestest buddy! This year I have started going fishing again, and really enjoy it (okay even learned how to reel the right way now!) This year during the snow we did miss the gang coming to the house after they would play in the park, making hot chocolate and building the fire to warm them up.
This year we have lost some family member, Uncle Jack Patching, what a wonderful man he was such a gentle guy. Henry's cousing Linda lost her husband. I often think of Aunt Joyce and Linda and feel so sad for them.
2009 is here and I can not wait to see what the year has in store for us. Two grandchildren, the family is growing. I love to sit back and absorb it all.
